Hello, I’m Dr. Zenaida D. Woods, Ed.D, LPC, CCTSI. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist - Individual who specializes in the treatment of trauma, depression, anxiety, and relationship issues in teens and adults. I am here for you. I can help you find the freedom from anxiety, stress, and life complexities that you may be experiencing. I can work with you to provide effective techniques and compassionate support to discover your ability to take control and be the change you want to see in your life. 

With over 18 years of working within the criminal justice system, I have seen the negative and long lasting effects of abuse and trauma on individual and family relationships. Not only am I a mental health therapist, but I am a Master Peace Officer, Crime Prevention specialist and I am trained in Crisis Intervention and Critical Incident Stress Management and Debriefing. I work with teen and adult individuals dealing with trauma and everyday life stressors and challenges,  first responders,  military veterans, and crime survivors in processing past and present traumatic experiences, and teens in the foster care system on the road to healing and recovery.
